Average Temperature - Monthly (°C)
Average of the Average daily temperature measurements reported on any given month.
Average Minimum Temperature - Monthly (°C)
Average of the minimum daily temperature measurements reported on any given month.
Average Maximum Temperature - Monthly (°C)
Average of the maximum temperature measurements reported on any given month.
Extreme Minimum Temperature - Monthly (°C)
The lowest daily temperature measurement reported on any given month.
Extreme Maximum Temperature - Monthly (°C)
The highest daily temperature measurement reported on any given month.
Relative Humidity
Relative humidity is the amount of moisture in the air relative to (or compared to) the amount that would be present if the air were saturated. Since the latter amount is dependent on temperature, relative humidity is a function of both the amount of moisture and the temperature. Relative humidity is expressed as a percent.

Wind Speed
Wind speed is the rate at which air is moving horizontally. It is usually measured by taking a 2--minute average of wind speeds. Peak wind speed is measured by determining the instantaneous wind speed.

Minimum Wind Speed (km/h)

Wind Direction
Wind direction is the direction from which the wind is blowing (i.e., wind blowing from North to South would have a North value because it comes FROM the North). It is normally measured clockwise to the nearest ten degrees, from 10 to 360 degrees. East is 90 degrees, South is 180 degrees, West is 270 degrees, North is 360 degrees. A wind direction of 0 degrees is only used when wind is calm.

Air Pressure
Air pressure is the force of the gases of the Earth's atmosphere pressing down on the Earth's surface. It is measured using a barometer.

Average Air Pressure - Daily (mb)
Average of the 24 hourly air pressure measurements reported on any given day.
Precipitation
The process where water vapor condenses in the atmosphere to form liquid water droplets that fall to the Earth as rain.
Precipitation Total - Hourly (cm)
Total precipitation recorded each hour, including both rain and snow. If there is snow, it is added to the liquid rain measurements by calculating the "liquid equivalent" of the snow.
Precipitation Total - Daily (cm)
Sum of the 24 hourly "total precipitation" measurements reported on any given day. If there is snow, it is added to the liquid rain measurements by calculating the "liquid equivalent" of the snow.
Total Preicpitation - Monthly (cm)
Sum of the daily "total precipitation" measurements reported for any given month, including both rain and snow. If there is snow, it is added to the liquid rain measurements by calculating the "liquid equivalent" of the snow.
Extreme Daily Precipitation (cm)
The highest daily "total precipitation" measurement reported for any given month. Includes both rain and snow.
Total Snowfall - Monthly (cm)
Sum of the daily "total snowfall" measurements reported for any given month. All the snow that fell that month.
Maximum Snow Depth - Monthly (cm)
Snow accumulates as it falls ontop of snow from previous storms. This is a measure of the deepest snow depth recorded in any given month.
